Cloud System Administrator
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual machines, storage, networking components, and cloud services.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Manage identity and access controls, including IAM, roles, and security policies.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and security hardening activities.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and conduct regular service health checks.
- Troubleshoot technical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Work with hyper-converged infrastructure solutions and related technologies.
- Manage backup solutions, disaster recovery processes, and ensure data protection.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to manage incidents, requests, and changes.
- Fulfill technical requests from clients and provide timely support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, identity management, networking, storage, and security concepts.
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and ITSM solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
